“ I visited this spot based on glowing Yelp reviews, and what a journey it was. Tucked away in the corner of a mini mall, it’s a bit tricky to find, but I was eager to see if it lived up to the hype. I started with the special of the day—the sando—and an order of beef dumplings. Unfortunately, the dumplings were underwhelming, lacking the depth of flavor I had hoped for. This had me concerned about the rest of the meal, so I shared my thoughts with the chef. To my surprise, he took it as a challenge and generously offered a roll on the house. That’s when things took a turn for the better. I sampled the torched salmon, spicy yellowtail, and spicy tuna rolls—each one outshining the last. The standout was the tuna roll, featuring an incredible passionfruit sauce that added a perfect balance of brightness and heat. Chefs CJ and Lewis truly elevate the experience, making guests feel right at home with their hospitality and skill. Despite the initial hiccup, the sushi won me over, and I’ll definitely be returning for some of the best rolls in Miami. ”
